The companion IP-9500De decoder includes an IP input interface port. The IP-9500De enables the delivery of proprietary features not currently available with competitive products. This includes ND 4:2:0 and the industry's first MPEG-4 encoder to simultaneously transmit HD signals using 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 chroma sub-sampling. The ND 4:2:0 feature is described in the White Paper The Cure for Concatenation that is available from our Web site (see below). The very neat feature of the Fujitsu CSC 4:2:2 encoding solution is that any industry standard decoder can decode the 4:2:0 video, while the Fujitsu IP-9500De will decode the 4:2:2 video.
